Director- Product Management

They help Professionals and Institutes such as Doctor, Lawyers and Hospitals and Education Institutes drive consumer experience over text messaging channels like SMS/ Whatsapp in their Enquiry management and Customer support processes. They integrate with Top CRMs like Salesforce, Zoho, Hubspot among others to drive engagement in key moments, and have acquired 5000 customers across SMB’s and Mid-market (from small Professional Doctors and lawyers to large global staffing companies and large insurance companies). 

They are growing at a fast pace and seeking senior candidates to join their leadership team. As the Director of Product Management, you will be responsible for overseeing and implementing product development policies, objectives, and initiatives as well as leading research for new products, product enhancements, and product design.

Key responsibilities:

  • Become a product expert on all SMS-Magic solutions by understanding the technical aspects of the product and its underlying technologies.
  • Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy that addresses product, pricing, messaging, competitive positioning, product launch and promotion.
  • Create prototypes or minimal viable products (MVPs) to validate assumptions and gather feedback.
  • Work closely with UX/UI designers to ensure that the product delivers an excellent user experience. Ensure that development teams have a clear understanding of prioritized features and user stories.
  • Build and own the product roadmap and timeline. Work with Development leaders to oversee development resources, including managing ROI, timelines, and deliverables. Coordinate with development, QA, and operations teams to manage the release cycle.
  • Monitor and report progress of projects within agreed upon timeframes.
  • Write very high quality BRD, PRDs, Epics and User Stories
  • Write status updates, iteration delivery and release notes as necessary
  • Monitor internal processes for efficiency and validity pre & post product launch/changes. Work within agile development methodologies, actively participating in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and other agile ceremonies.
  • Create and analyze financial proposals related to product development and provide supporting content showing allocation of funds to execute these plans.
  • Work with the leadership team on driving product strategy, in both new and existing products, to increase overall market share, revenue and customer loyalty
  • Develop/implement a suite of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure product performance including profitability, customer satisfaction metrics, compliance, and delivery efficiency.

What we need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Technology related field.
  • Proven experience in Software Development and Product Management.
  • 15+ years of experience leading product teams in a fast-paced business environment as Product Leader on Software Platform or SaaS solution.
  • Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering high-impact products.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and in writing.
  • Familiarity with design thinking principles, Strong problem-solving skills & experience in agile development methodologies.
  • Skilled at data analytics focused on identifying opportunities, driving insights, and measuring value.
  • Proven strategic and tactical leadership, motivation, and decision-making skills
