About the job:

Screen Magic is seeking for a Contracts Manager, to join our legal team supporting our stakeholders, technology initiatives, information security matters and operations. Our legal team works closely with HR, Marketing, Sales, Security, Technology, Operations and other teams.

As a Contracts Manager, you are required to interface with internal and external stakeholders and involve in legal matters, customer and vendor contracts assessment and negotiations, managed services, information security aspects, RFPs and RFIs, Vendor Questionnaires as well as advice or provide solutions to Screen Magic. 

We are looking for someone who is Independent, self-starting, and self-motivated for high performance, has experience handling multiple legal documents validating clauses and ability to protect the company against any inherent legal risks maintaining data confidentiality with a strong sense of professional integrity and keen observer on internal controls and improvements.

Minimum qualifications:

We are looking for you, if you have  

  • Experience of working with Corporates doing contracts with customers around the globe (At least 8 to 10 years experience in negotiating, drafting contracts)
  • Worked with large/mid size law firms as a Contract lawyer 
  • Based in Pune
  • Bachelor’s degree in Law or equivalent practical experience.
  • Good understanding of Business law, GDPR, Managed Services and experience of in-house team within India.
  • Strong analytical skills and effective communication.

 Responsibilities:

  • Vetting & drafting of legal documents, agreements, and contracts of the organization. Such as MSA’s, NDA’s, Security Questionnaire, DPA’s etc.
  • Draft, review and negotiate a variety of contracts in regions - US, India, Europe, Australia
  • Participate in negotiations with external customers/vendors as and when required.
  • Draft, agreements and policies. Create procedures and process efficiencies.
  • Provide legal advice and support to the operations and other teams. 
  • Identify non-compliance issues, provide implications, suggest available courses of action and support their resolution.
  • Define and execute related compliance procedures to ensure the business operations/transactions are in compliance with applicable laws;
